Functional Design
The UniFi Switch Pro XG 24 PoE introduces Etherlighting™ technology, a groundbreaking feature that visually indicates port location, link speed, and VLAN or network assignment through dynamic illumination. When paired with UniFi Etherlighting Patch Cables, the ports achieve optimal brightness and visibility, providing a clean, professional appearance. The switch also includes a 1.3-inch color LCM touchscreen display for quick status checks, device configuration, and live monitoring without external software. Built from high-grade SGCC steel, this 1U rack-mountable switch ensures structural integrity and durability, fitting securely into four-post racks with adjustable depths between 600 and 1,066 mm. With robust ESD protection up to ±30kV (air) and ±20kV (contact), the UniFi Switch Pro XG 24 PoE is designed to perform reliably in any professional IT environment.

Smart Management
The UniFi Switch Pro XG 24 PoE is designed to deliver both robust power and advanced management features. With a total PoE budget of 720 W, all 24 RJ45 ports support PoE+++ (Type 4, up to 90 W), enabling high-wattage devices like Ubiquiti U6E, U7, or other demanding access points and switches. The switch's internal 200 W AC/DC power supply (100-240V AC) works alongside UniFi Redundant Power System (RPS) via a USP RPS DC input to maintain uptime during power fluctuations. Under typical operation, the switch itself consumes up to 150 W (excluding PoE output), and when fully loaded, the combined power draw (switch + PoE) can reach 870 W. Management is seamless through UniFi Network version 9.0.114 and later, allowing centralized configuration, monitoring, and firmware updates from a single intuitive interface. The switch fully supports Layer 3 networking, including static routing and inter-VLAN communication, enabling optimized data paths and reduced latency across complex infrastructures.
