The SIGMA Teleconverter TC-1411 is a teleconverter for use with SIGMA L-Mount lenses only. Installed between the lens and the camera body, the TC-1411 increases the focal length of the camera by 1.4 times.

The excellent performance of the SIGMA Contemporary, Art and Sports lines of lenses is the result of an effort to achieve the highest level of image quality. The SIGMA teleconverter TC-1411 maintains the image quality of the original lens as much as possible and increases the focal length.
In addition, the new teleconverter features a dust- and splash-proof construction similar to the Sports line lenses, and can withstand the harsh environment of outdoor shooting when combined with a dust- and splash-proof camera body and lens.
This lightweight and compact accessory can be used with one hand, providing an "ultra-telephoto" angle of view for telephoto and macro lenses, while enhancing the performance of original lenses; SIGMA Teleconverter TC-1411 will be a new special equipment for users.

Patented SIGMA MTF measurement system "A1" is applied to each converter
We measured the performance of the lens with the MTF measurement system using conventional sensors. But now we've developed our proprietary MTF (Modulation Transfer Function) metering system (A1) using Foveon's 46-megapixel direct image sensors. Even previously undetectable high-frequency details are now included in our quality control checks. SIGMA Teleconverter TC-1411 will be tested with this A1 before shipping.
