2mm Acoustic Membrane Made of Pressed Nonwoven Fabric on a Polymer Layer for Road Noise Isolation - 16 Pieces, 37x50cm (2.96m²), MLF = 0.29 CTK Block PRO 2.0 Box. A highly effective acoustic membrane in blocking road noise, this self-adhesive mat is based on nonwoven fabric and a layer of high-quality polymer with enhanced adhesive properties. CTK Block PRO mats are highly flexible and maintain their performance over a wide temperature range. When used properly, this material guarantees a high acoustic insulation index. It is intended for professional use in conjunction with other soundproofing materials (vibration dampening mats and sound-absorbing foams) to most effectively reduce road noise inside the vehicle cabin. CTK Block PRO mats block and reduce noise, and partially reflect it towards other sound-absorbing or sound-absorbing materials. They should be applied as the final, third layer to the lower body elements that transmit the most road noise into the cabin (floor, center tunnel, spare wheel well, top of the wheel arches in the trunk, etc.). Because the CTK Block PRO acoustic membrane works most effectively when placed on top of other soundproofing materials (usually foam or felt), its adhesion to the previous layer may be limited. The polymer has self-adhesive properties primarily to ensure the acoustic membrane adheres securely to the previous layer and prevents it from sliding freely under floor coverings. Therefore, this material should only be applied to horizontal, gently curved, or slightly inclined surfaces! The top non-woven layer additionally protects the factory-made carpets against dirt and sticking to the polymer. xa0 BASIC PARAMETERS: total thickness: xa0 2.0 mm xa0 +/- 0.2 mm xa0 xa0 xa0 material: xa0 pressed non-woven fabric on a layer of high-quality polymer with increased adhesive properties xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 MLF (mechanical loss factor) - vibration damping effectiveness: xa0 29 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 sheet dimensions: xa0 370x500 mm sheet area: xa0 185 m2 quantity per package: xa0 16 sheets / 2.96 m2 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 weight: xa09.21 kg/pack. xa0(3.11 kg/m2) xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 recommended installation temperature: xa0+10ºC to +30ºC temperature range for application and operation: xa0-40ºC to +100ºC high flexibility and high effectiveness in a wide range of temperatures high insulating (noise blocking) properties xa0 xa0 xa0 the product does not contain bituminous admixtures (no tar or asphalt) xa0 non-toxic product, does not emit unpleasant odors, can be used in the automotive industry and in closed rooms visual features: xa0 outer layer made of pressed blue non-woven fabric with printed black graphics xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 manufactured by CTK Ltd. in accordance with the quality management standards ISO 9001:2008, SIC.02.040.1344 xa0 xa0xa0 application in the car: xa0 as the last (third) layer on the noisiest lower, horizontal body elements (floor in the cabin and trunk, central tunnel, spare wheel well, top of the wheel arches) xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 xa0 price per pack - 16 sheets with dimensions 37x50 cm xa0 (2.96 m2) xa0 CTK vibration damping materials are non-toxic and safe to use, in accordance with the requirements of the European Union (EC). NOTE! Some suppliers of other brands of soundproofing mats sometimes declare the non-toxicity or safety of their products solely based on a RoHS certificate. Such a certificate does not apply to soundproofing materials, as the RoHS directive applies only to electrical and electronic products, not chemicals. Such soundproofing materials may not meet legal requirements or guarantee safe use. DAMPENING EFFECTIVENESS: When soundproofing a car, the desired effect is achieved by acoustically insulating its interior and, above all, by significantly reducing (damping) the amplitude of mechanical vibrations of metal and plastic components of the car's body and cabin. For this purpose, flexible and slightly elastic materials are applied to the damped elements (
