Ford Steering Wheel Adapter - 24-pin Analog Connector

This adapter allows you to retain the original Steering Wheel Control (SWC) functionality when replacing your factory radio with a new HU head unit. Functionality depends on your vehicle's equipment and software version – some features may be missing or work differently.

Before installation:

• Compare the wiring harness connectors shown in the photos with the connectors in your vehicle.

• Check if one of the supported OEM players is pre-installed.

• Check vehicle settings and SWC operation.

• Disable SYNC before installation.

Available signals:

• red: +12V ignition terminal 15

• orange: +12V lighting terminal 58

• purple-white: +12V reverse gear signal

• pink: speed pulse signal

• green: GND parking brake signal

Output load capacity: max. 250 mA
Current consumption above 250 mA: coil min. 75 Ω

Basic installation instructions:

1. Check OEM HU features and settings.

2. Disconnect the OEM HU from the power supply.

3. Verify all interface connections are voltage-free.

4. Configure the interface without tension.

5. Connect the HU connection cable according to the user manual.

6. Connect the remaining wires according to the instructions for the HU unit being retrofitted.
