BMW / Mini steering wheel adapter - 40-pin Quadlock

The adapter allows you to retain the original Steering Wheel Control (SWC) functions when replacing the factory radio (HU) with an aftermarket unit.
Provides CAN bus compatibility and full integration of steering wheel controls and vehicle signals.

Available signals:

• Red: +12V ignition terminal 15

• Orange: +12V lighting terminal 58

• Purple and white: reverse gear signal +12V

• Pink: speed pulse signal

• Green: parking brake signal GND

Output load capacity: max. 250 mA
Requirements for loads > 250 mA:

• relay coil resistance min. 75 Ω or 150 Ω

Comments:

• Does not support PDC/warning beeps in some configurations.

• OEM speedometer display may not be supported on select models.

• Installation recommended by a qualified installer.

Installation:

1. Checking the correct connections and vehicle functions with the HU turned off.

2. Disconnecting the original HU.

3. Connect the adapter according to the assembly instructions.

4. DIP configuration.
