Active system adapter for Audi / Seat

Adapter designed for Audi and SEAT vehicles equipped with semi-active system (without BOSE, the amplifier powers only the rear speakers and subwoofer, the front ones are powered directly from the radio)

The active system adapter allows you to retain your factory sound system when installing an aftermarket radio.

This device allows you to integrate your new radio with your vehicle's original audio system, preserving the functionality of the factory amplifier and rear speakers, including the subwoofer. The front speakers are powered directly by the radio.

By properly converting the output signal from the radio to the input signal of the OEM amplifier, it is possible to ensure the proper functioning of the entire audio system without interfering with the vehicle installation.

Functions and Applications

• front speakers powered directly from the radio (via cables)
• rear speakers + subwoofer powered by the factory amplifier
• the signal to the amplifier is fed by RCA (cinch - low level)
• RCA plugs should be connected to the amplifier output on the radio
• quick installation without the need to modify the installation
• compatibility with aftermarket radios (e.g. Vordon, Pioneer, Sony)

Additional information

Depending on the vehicle model and version of the factory audio system:

• some functions (e.g. subwoofer adjustment, sound settings) may be limited
• a slight noise level may occur
• sounds are possible when turning the system on/off
• Connection: 40-pin Audi Quadlock connector > RCA (male)

• Starting the radio
• red wire +12V after ignition (terminal 15)
• must be connected to the power supply "key-operated" (e.g. fuse box)
• required security fuse

• orange: +12 V dimmer, terminal 58*

• Starting the amplifier
• blue wire +12V amplifier control (REMOTE)
• connect to the wire on the radio (usually blue, marked ANT / REMOTE )
• +12V appears on the wire when the radio is turned on
• the signal activates the factory amplifier

• vehicles with a 2-channel factory rear door sound system
• vehicles with factory Blaupunkt / Matsushita / Grundig Concert II / Symphony II / Chorus II 2-DIN device
• vehicles with factory navigation BNS.0 Monochrome / RNS-E 16:9
• aftermarket devices with a preamplifier output above 3V

It is recommended to test the device before final assembly.
