Zebra introduces the ZD421-HC, a 4-inch desktop printer for healthcare label printing. It is compatible with any Windows, Android or iOS device and features a top speed of 152 mm/s at 203 dpi or 102 mm/s at 300 dpi. To ensure the printer meets all healthcare requirements, its compact plastic housing is disinfectable and UV-resistant, and the main interface is sealed. In addition, the power supply meets IEC 60601-1 requirements for use in healthcare facilities.

The ZD421-HC comes standard with 256 MB SDRAM and 512 MB flash memory, as well as USB 2.0, USB host, NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). It can be optionally expanded with Ethernet, serial port, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 interfaces. A moving media sensor ensures high compatibility, as well as virtually free media selection.
