High Performance
The Ubiquiti Wave AP Gen2 is a high-performance 60 GHz PtMP access point designed to deliver ultra-fast and reliable wireless connectivity in urban and high-density environments. Leveraging the 802.11ay standard, the Wave AP Gen2 supports 60 GHz long-range communications with ultra-low latency and interference-free operation. It delivers total throughput of up to 5.4 Gbps and can serve up to 15 Wave Long-Range or Wave Nano stations simultaneously, making it an ideal solution for ISPs and enterprise networks. An integrated 5 GHz radio provides backup connectivity to ensure link continuity during rain fade or obstructions. With its built-in GPS and Bluetooth, deployment and synchronization are streamlined. The AP is housed in a durable outdoor enclosure (IPX6-rated), designed to withstand harsh environmental conditions while ensuring long-term performance stability.


Next-Gen Scalability
Engineered for scalability, the Wave AP Gen2 features Ubiquiti's proprietary Wave technology, enabling high-speed multipoint connections across line-of-sight (LOS) and near-line-of-sight (nLOS) scenarios. With beamforming technology and automatic beam steering, the AP ensures highly focused links, improving signal strength and efficiency even in complex environments. Thanks to the Precision Alignment Mount, the Wave AP Gen2 can be installed easily and aimed precisely for optimal coverage. The unit supports 1x 2.5GbE PoE In port, compliant with 802.3af/at, and draws a maximum of 18.5W. Its MU-MIMO capability ensures simultaneous high-throughput performance for multiple stations.
