Efficient Power Management

The UDB-Switch is designed to simplify deployments by combining switching, wireless bridging, and power delivery in a single compact device. All eight Ethernet ports support PoE+, providing up to 30 W per port to power UniFi access points, IP cameras, and other PoE-enabled devices. With the included 60 W power adapter, the switch offers a total PoE budget of 35 W, ideal for smaller installations. For more demanding environments, an optional 210 W adapter increases the total PoE availability to an impressive 185 W, supporting multiple high-power devices simultaneously. The switch itself consumes up to 25 W excluding PoE output, ensuring efficient operation. Designed for desktop or wall mounting, the UDB-Switch fits easily into offices, retail spaces, warehouses, or remote network nodes. This scalability allows the same device to be used in small setups today and expanded later as network requirements grow.

Built for professional environments, the UDB-Switch integrates seamlessly into the UniFi ecosystem and is managed through the UniFi Network application (version 10.0.156 or later). It supports management over Ethernet or WiFi, includes a built-in 0.96-inch status display for quick diagnostics, and features WPA3-SAE wireless security enabled by default. The internal high-gain antennas (8 dBi on both 5 GHz and 6 GHz) and advanced MIMO support ensure stable wireless performance even in challenging RF conditions. The device operates reliably in temperatures from -30 to +40 °C, making it suitable for indoor and semi-protected environments. NDAA compliance and CE, FCC, and IC certifications allow deployment in corporate, public sector, and regulated installations.
