The MultiPlus-II is an advanced inverter and charger from Victron Energy that combines PowerControl and PowerAssist functions. These functions prevent overloading of the limited AC source by automatically adjusting battery charging or compensating battery power. The MultiPlus-II is a key component of Energy Storage Systems (ESS), enabling flexible connection to MPPT solar chargers or Grid-tie PV inverters. This allows optimal use of solar or grid energy to power your home or business. When connected to a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX), remote monitoring and control is possible both locally and via the internet. Access via the free VRM app and VRM portal allows you to constantly control your
system from your phone, tablet, or computer.

Product Features

PowerAssist

The MultiPlus prevents overloading of a limited AC source, such as a generator or shore power supply. It first limits the battery charge current when there is a risk of overload. Then, when higher energy consumption is required, it increases the available output power by supplementing it with energy from the battery.

Remote monitoring and control

Once connected to a GX device (e.g. Cerbo GX), you can monitor and control the device and installation locally (LAN)
or remotely via the internet from anywhere using the free VRM app and VRM portal.

Uninterruptible power supply (UPS function)

In the event of a grid failure or generator/shore power outage, the inverter automatically takes over power
to the connected loads. The transfer occurs in less than 20 ms, allowing computers and electronics to continue operating without disruption.

Victron ESS

The MultiPlus-II is a key component of the Victron ESS system, providing the flexibility to connect to MI_BR_94__ MPPT solar chargers or Grid-tie PV inverters, allowing for optimal energy utilisation in energy storage systems.
