This camera, when connected to the main A229 Plus/Pro DVR, will record a zoomed-in view of the front. This camera is used in conjunction with the standard front-view camera on 2- and 3-channel models. The image is recorded in two formats - standard wide-angle and an additional recording with a zoomed-in view.
The image is also displayed on the recorder screen.
