Among the lenses is an ultra-low dispersion glass element, which is responsible for reducing chromatic aberration. The entire construction provides images with high sharpness and faithful color rendering. The f/2.8 - f/16 adjustable aperture and relatively short focal length for this type of lens provide a comfortable depth of field. The variable magnification scale (2.5x - 5x) is perfect for photographing subjects of different sizes, such as insects, plants or details of larger objects.
