USE:

One side of the tester is designed for testing the trailer plug, and the other for diagnosing the car socket.

PLUG (TRAILER) TEST:

• Connect the plug to the tester.
• Press the yellow button on the side of the tester.
• If the light is GREEN, the installation is OK.
• If the indicator light is RED, the installation is DAMAGED or the bulb is BURNT.

SOCKET TEST:

• Connect the tester to the socket in the car
• Turn on a specific light, e.g. brake or turn signal.

• Press the yellow button on the side of the tester.

• If the socket is OPERATIONAL, the active light indicator will turn GREEN.
• If the socket is DAMAGED (or the installation is FAULTY), the light will remain RED.
