The Tamron 17-70mm f/2.8 Di III-A VC RXD Sony E is Tamron's first fast zoom lens for system cameras with APS-C sized sensors. It's a small, lightweight lens that also features Tamron's VC (Vibration Compensation) mechanism, which reduces camera shake. This VC mechanism uses AI technology when you're shooting video.
The lens features a weather-resistant construction, fluorine coating, and a ~67mm filter size. Compatible with many of the features that Sony has implemented in its cameras, including Fast Hybrid AF and Eye AF, the lens is an ideal everyday zoom lens for a wide range of situations.
