This is achieved by combining a newly developed high-sensitivity sensor with dual native ISO technology and the latest 'Venus Engine'. Dual native ISO is a revolutionary technology in professional Panasonic camcorders that allows high sensitivity and low noise levels to be maintained. Normally, as sensitivity increases, so does noise levels if a camera with a traditional single native ISO is used. However, the newly developed sensor can quickly switch to high sensitivity using a dual circuit. This means you can capture great images in low-light situations with reduced noise.

Used for stills, 4K and C4K video recording and anamorphic mode, this feature gives you the full range of possibilities to express the lens's angle of view, creating truly stunning visual expression!

Also, by using a large sensor, a high scanning speed is achieved. Shutter-variable distortion is reduced by approximately 1.3 times compared to the LUMIX GH5 when recording using the electronic shutter or high scanning speed.

Up to 10x slow motion video playback - VFR (variable frame rate)

To enhance the expressiveness of your video, the LUMIX GH5S offers a wide range of effects. With VFR, you can record fast/slow motion videos in C4K/4K (60 fps up to 2.5x slower*) or 'Full HD' (240 fps up to 10x slower*). The minimum frame rate for fast motion is 2 fps. * At 24p playback. TC input/output connector

Timecode can be synchronized to an external device using the included BNC conversion cable, making it easier to edit out-of-sequence footage shot with multiple cameras.

LINE input supported

LINE-IN input is supported via the 3.5mm microphone jack. This allows you to record sounds from an external audio device, making video editing more efficient.
