• Maximum continuous shooting speed - 20 frames per second, kai shooting in raw mode, 30 frames per second, kai shooting in JPEG format, and an impressive 120 frames per second recording 11 megapixel photos, all rates support full AF/AE. The ability to store over 1000 raw images per burst, meaning that sequences of raw images can be recorded continuously for approximately 50 seconds.


• Electronic lock provides a maximum shutter speed of 1/32,000 sec. so you can work in the brightest conditions with wider apertures. The composite sensor design minimizes rolling shutter distortion, so fast-moving subjects such as a golf club, tennis racket or baseball bat do not appear distorted at shutter speeds up to 1/32,000 sec.


• AF calculations are performed At 120 frames per second to keep up with the high continuous shooting speed.


• New high-performance RAW file format maintains image quality similar to uncompressed raw files, but the file size is approximately 30% smaller for faster read/write to the memory card.

• Built to the same dust and moisture resistance standards as the D6, the Z9 features a highly durable and rigid magnesium alloy chassis that can be 20% smaller than the previous flagship DSLR body.


• The included EN-EL18d battery provides approximately 700 shots on a single charge. Z9 is also compatible with other EN-EL18 series batteries.


• Body Vibration Reduction now supports synchronized VR to compensate for up to 6 stops of camera shake, kai used with select Z lenses.


• The VR safety lock protects the sensor and VR mechanism to prevent damage caused by movement while traveling.


• To help reduce the amount of dust entering the sensor, the Z9 features a sensor shield that protects the sensor surface when changing lenses. For additional protection against dust, the optical filter covering the sensor has a dual electrically conductive and fluorine coating.


• Backlit buttons make navigation and button identification easier when working in low-light conditions.


• Voice memo function for recording short verbal notes while taking photos.
