Nikon Z6 II, (Z6II), (Z 6 II), (Z 6II) + NIKKOR Z 20mm f/1.8 S + FTZ II Mount adapter
More speed, more versatility, more performance -Nikon Z6IIis an updated version of the all-round mirrorless camera for high-end photography and video applications. Despite the many updates, the Z 6II retains a familiar form factor and valuable image quality that is useful for working multimedia image creators.
Based on a 24.5MP BSI CMOS sensor and dual EXPEED 6 image processors, the Z 6II boasts increased buffer depth and faster continuous shooting speeds, up to 14fps with single-point AF or 12fps in other focus modes. Video recording in UHD 4K 30p resolution is possible, or up to FHD 120p slow-motion output, while external recording offers 10-bit output along with N-Log and HLG (HDR) support. The sensor is also suitable for working in a wide range of lighting conditions, with sensitivities from ISO 100 to 51200, and 5-axis image stabilization reduces the appearance of camera shake, ensuring sharper handheld shooting. In addition, the sensor also features a 273-point phase-detection AF system that now supports Eye-Detect AF in wide-area AF modes and during video recording, and allows focusing in low-light conditions down to -4.5 EV.
While maintaining image quality, the Z 6II retains the overall physical design, but has been updated with a new dual memory card slot interface for one CFexpress Type B card and one SD UHS-II card for more flexible storage. Both a high-resolution 3.6 million-dot OLED EVF and a 3.2-inch 2.1 million-dot vari-angle touchscreen LCD provide versatility for image composition and playback, while SnapBridge wireless connectivity can be used for remote camera control, image sharing with a mobile device, and even over-the-air software updates.
Software version 1.10 opens up UHD 4K recording at 60p and 50p frame rates, enables raw video output to Blackmagic Design Video Assist external recorders, and improves eye detection performance in Auto-Area AF and Wide-Area AF modes.
Second generation Z
Improving on its initial efforts, Nikon has revised the Z 6 platform to offer more speed, faster processing, and greater versatility without sacrificing the beloved features of the original camera.
