Fujifilm X-H2 Body (Black)

Pushing the boundaries of APS-C imaging, the FUJIFILM X-H2 is a high-resolution crop sensor mirrorless camera featuring an innovative 40MP BSI sensor and an arsenal of cutting-edge features packed into a small and durable X-series body. This high-performance camera, at the pinnacle of the X-System series, inherits many of the GFX System’s advances in digital capture technology to deliver image quality, detail and color rendition never before seen in a crop sensor camera, while maintaining the characteristic compact form and sleek design that has attracted a loyal X-System following worldwide.

Illuminated sensor and 64-bit processing

X-Trans 5 BSI sensor

Ideal for architecture, travel and landscape photographers, the X-H2 features a back-illuminated, APS-C-sized 40MP X-Trans 5 HR sensor that increases resolution and improves low-light performance compared to previous generations. First, as an X-Trans sensor, it uses a unique color filter array that inherently reduces moiré and contributes to more natural color reproduction; In addition, the BSI design helps reduce noise and improve tonality and clarity; and finally, the design greatly reduces rolling shutter and other motion distortions to better suit high-speed video and photo applications. The outstanding resolution allows for 2x digital zoom and has up to 13 stops of dynamic range.

X-processor 5

Partnering the newly designed sensor is a new engine - the X-Processor 5 - which uses 64-bit processing to deliver 3x the speed of both video and stills compared to the X-T4. On the video side, this allows for recording at bit rates of up to 720mb/s.

In terms of photos, this fast processing means faster shooting to capture moving subjects. With the electronic shutter, you can shoot at up to 20 frames per second, using a buffer of 202 consecutive uncompressed raw frames. With the mechanical shutter, you can shoot at up to 15 frames per second, and capture over 1,000 raw frames in a single shot.

This processing is beneficial for both video and photo applications, and also benefits the sophisticated and AI-assisted autofocus system, helping to achieve 14 stops of dynamic range and increasing the sensitivity range from 125 to 12800 ISO.

Powerful video capabilities

4K 60p and 8K 30p internal recording

Despite its focus on photography, the X-H2 has an impressive imaging system, capable of 4:2:2 10-bit internal recording in 8K resolution at 30fps and DCI/UHD 4K at up to 60fps and Full HD at up to 240p. . A variety of codecs are also supported, including H.265 and three ProRes tiers: high-speed 422 HQ, standard 422 and the more compressed 422 LT. In addition, continuous recording time of up to 160 minutes is possible at any frame rate and resolution, and can be extended to 240 minutes with the use of an external clip-on fan.

External raw recording

A full-size HDMI port allows for 12-bit raw video recording when paired with a compatible external recorder. Both ProRes RAW and Blackmagic RAW recording are available, as well as the ability to work with F-Log or F-Log 2 profiles, and either format supports up to 8K resolution.

Improved autofocus and image stabilization

Hybrid AF with deep learning AI

Thanks to improved processing, autofocus is noticeably faster and smarter. This hybrid focus system uses 425 phase-detection points and is now sensitive down to -7 EV for truly low-light performance. Additionally, a deep learning-based, AI adaptive algorithm means this focus system is better able to automatically detect and track different types of subjects.

Pixel Shift Multishot

Pixel Shift Multishot takes multiple exposures in rapid succession, each precisely shifting the image sensor by half a pixel, each time capturing the subject on a different part of the image sensor, creating a single 160-megapixel image using the Pixel Shift feature. The combiner software.
