This is a two-in-one smoke and carbon monoxide detector for use in homes, apartments, offices or other indoor spaces.
The device simultaneously monitors smoke and carbon monoxide (CO) concentrations, and when a hazard is detected, it activates an audible alarm and LED indication.
The detector has an LCD screen that displays CO concentration and a test/mute button.
The detector uses a photoelectric smoke sensor and an electrochemical carbon monoxide sensor and meets EN14604-2005 and EN50291-1:2018 safety standards.
The device triggers an optical and audible signal, and sends warning messages via the TUYA app via Wi-Fi.
The detector is connected and configured directly via the Tuya Smart or Smart Life smart app.
No additional control panels or devices are required, 2.4GHz wireless internet and a smart Android or iOS device are sufficient.
The app's event log allows you to view alarm history and battery status. The app sends not only instant alerts to your phone about smoke or CO detection, but also about low battery levels or testing events.
It is recommended to mount the detector on the ceiling in the middle of the room to more effectively detect smoke and soot. If this is not possible, it should be mounted no closer than about 50 cm from the corners of the room. When mounted on a wall, the detector should be mounted approximately 10-30 cm below the ceiling. Mount away from fans, radiators or air conditioners, and avoid damp or dusty rooms.
It is recommended to mount the detector up to 10 meters from the Wi-Fi router, after checking the stability of the connection in the selected installation location.
It is recommended to check the device once a week by pressing the TEST button.
