The detector is sold with an integrated 10-year battery. When the battery expires, the detector must be replaced with a new one.

Very simple installation - no wiring required.

The smoke detector can be mounted with screws (included) or strong double-sided adhesive tape (not included). There is no need to connect any wires to the detector, it is powered directly by the battery that is included in the kit.
