Professional gas leak detector GS-8K

Professional and accurate flammable/explosive gas leak detector GS-8K is designed to detect gas leaks and notify about it with an audible signal. When the detector is turned on, the sensors constantly check the concentration of flammable gases in the air and inform if they exceed the permissible limits. Suitable for residential and commercial buildings. The detector has a self-diagnostic function, thanks to which it will inform the user about a possible malfunction with an LED light signal.

This gas detector is reliable and certified. The detector has GB15322, EN50194 and UL1484 quality certificates, which ensure and guarantee that the device works properly and is sufficiently sensitive and safe.

Audible and visual signals.

The detector informs about an increased gas concentration in the air (gas leak) both with an audible signal and a lit LED light.

Preparation for work.

The detector is very easy to set up - just plug the power plug into the electrical outlet and mount it on the wall in the desired location according to the recommendations provided (see below). When turned on, the detector will emit a single beep and the green light will flash for up to 3 minutes. When the green light stops flashing and starts to glow continuously - the detector is working properly. On the front of the detector, you will also find a "test" button, which when pressed will cause a beep.

What to do if a gas detector is triggered?

If the gas detector has triggered, first:

1. Under no circumstances should you use any flammable materials (lighters, matches, gas stoves, etc.), or use or turn on electrical appliances.


2. Open the windows and allow the room to air out completely.


3. If you are unable to identify the source of the gas leak yourself and prevent further gas leakage, contact specialized services.

Different installation location - for detecting different gases.

In order to use the gas detector effectively, it is necessary to properly select its installation location:

• Install at a height of 30 cm from the floor in order to detect liquefied gas (LPG or city gas) concentration.


• Install at a height of 50 cm from the ceiling if you want to detect natural gas leakage (gas cylinders).

The gas detector is compact and can be installed very quickly and easily. You just need to mount the detector on the wall and connect it to a power outlet. Mounting accessories (screws) are included in the package.
