The LP10-2 carbon monoxide (CO) detector with a sensor operating time of up to 10 years is designed to determine the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air and inform people in the room about it. The device is professional and certified. It can be used in various types of residential and commercial premises. The detector is powered by a battery, which you will find in the kit.

What is carbon monoxide?

Carbon monoxide is produced in the air when fuel (wood, etc.) burns inefficiently, when heaters, stoves, or ovens malfunction, or when rooms are not properly ventilated. Carbon monoxide is a poisonous gas that is dangerous to human health and can even cause death.

Constantly monitors the current concentration of CO (fine particles) in the air - informs about danger

The detector constantly checks the concentration of carbon monoxide in the air and, depending on the duration of a certain concentration, informs with an audible signal:

  • At a concentration of 30 ppm for more than 120 minutes

  • At a concentration of 50 ppm for more than 90 minutes

  • At a concentration of 100 ppm for more than 40 minutes

  • At a concentration of 300 ppm for more than 3 minutes

You can always monitor the current carbon monoxide gas concentration on the detector's LCD screen (if the CO concentration increases. If the CO concentration is within normal limits, the screen will be off).

Informs about a low battery.

The detector will work for up to 10 years with the included battery. However, you don't have to worry about the battery dying. The detector will notify you when the battery is low - it will start beeping every 30 seconds.

Test button. Know that the detector is working properly.

There is a built-in TEST button on the detector, which when pressed will cause an audible signal and display the current CO concentration in the air. A green light will also flash every 30 seconds to indicate that the detector is working properly.

Fully equipped.

The detector comes with everything you need to use it: the detector itself, batteries, and mounting screws.

Where to install a carbon monoxide detector?

  • Carbon monoxide gas is lighter than air, so it is recommended to install the detector higher (on the ceiling or on the wall (0.3 m from the ceiling), or at eye level).

  • Install the sensor in bedrooms, areas where you spend a lot of time, and areas where you suspect carbon monoxide gas may be released. Make sure that anyone sleeping can hear the sensor's alarm.

  • If the building has several floors, it is recommended to install sensors on each floor.

  • Do not install the sensor near carbon monoxide sources (e.g. gas stove or fireplace) to avoid false audible alarms.

  • If the room is dusty, take care of the detector: regularly clean the detector with a damp cloth (not wet), you can vacuum it. This will ensure that the sensor works properly.

  • Do not install detectors behind curtains or inside cabinets.

  • Do not install the detector near a window.

Important: Ideally, detectors should be installed on every floor of the house, in every room of the house.
