The Dongle-LMG21 can operate as a ZigBee coordinator, ZigBee router, Thread RCP or in MultiPAN mode, allowing simultaneous operation of ZigBee and Thread devices. This provides a great deal of configuration flexibility - both for novice users and those planning more advanced Matter over Thread installations. The dongle is about 65% smaller than older designs, so it doesn't take up space at the USB port and is also great for installation with mini-computers or SBC servers. The kit comes with a USB extension cable (0.5 m), which allows the dongle to be moved away from the computer or Raspberry Pi chassis. This solution effectively reduces electromagnetic interference and improves the stability of wireless communication.
