The fast and versatile Sigma 45mm f/2.8 DG DN Contemporary Lens, designed for full-frame mirrorless cameras with E-mount, is a normal-length lens that optimizes size and weight while delivering an exceptionally smooth bokeh effect with rounded defocus that highlights both the foreground and background. Along with the ability to soften the edges of blurred images and enhance the three-dimensional impression of a subject, its minimum focusing distance of 9.5 inches makes it ideal for snapshots, tabletop shots, or any shots where you want your subject to stand out.

While full-time manual focus is available, this lens features a stepping motor that delivers smooth, fast autofocus, which is exceptionally quiet both when using features such as face/eye detection AF and when shooting movies. A rounded seven-blade diaphragm contributes to smooth bokeh, while a lens hood can protect the front element and prevent stray light from causing flare.
