The Shelly Wave Pro 3 is a 3-channel DIN-rail mounted relay that supports up to 48 amps and is designed for professional and commercial applications. It supports control of 3 independent circuits via potential-free contacts, making it compatible with a wide range of voltages and devices. The Shelly Wave Pro 3 relay offers three relay outputs - each with a maximum load of 16 A. The device can therefore handle 48 A, allowing independent control of lighting, heating systems or other high-power equipment within a single installation. This makes it easy to integrate different circuits in a single location without the need for additional modules.
The device works both in a standard Z-Wave mesh network and in a Z-Wave Long Range network. In Long Range mode, the range can be up to 1,000 meters in a straight line, eliminating the need for repeaters in large facilities. In mesh mode, the device can also act as a repeater, extending the range of the Z-Wave network.
With support for schedules, smart scenes and integration with other Z-Wave devices, you can customize the relay's operation according to your daily routine or outdoor conditions, such as sunrise and sunset. In this way, you will reduce your electricity bill. In addition, SmartStart makes it easy to add the device to the network by scanning a QR code - no manual configuration required.
Thanks to potential-free contacts, Shelly Wave Pro 3 can control both resistive loads (e.g. heaters), capacitive loads (e.g. electronic devices) and inductive loads (e.g. air conditioners, refrigerators), as long as they are equipped with an RC (snubber) circuit. This allows the device to be widely used in industrial, hotel or office installations.
The relay consumes less than 0.3 watts, making it one of the more energy-efficient options available on the market. Overheat protection automatically shuts down the device if the temperature exceeds 80°C and sends a notification to the gateway, ensuring the safety of the installation.
The compact housing (96 × 53 × 59 mm) and ability to be mounted on a standard DIN rail allows for easy integration into existing switchboards. The product complies with global DIN standardization, which simplifies the design and installation process in professional environments.
Shelly Wave Pro 3 works with all certified Z-Wave gateways and supports S2, S2 Authenticated and S0 security standards. It also offers OTA (Over-The-Air) updates, allowing for ongoing software maintenance without dismantling the device.
