TG-BT5-OUT: A marker designed for the challenges of heavy industry
This version of our BLE tags is fully sealed, molded in industrial molds, giving it a robust IP69k ingress protection rating. This means that this tag is dust-proof - nothing can get inside, and it is completely protected against high-pressure, high-temperature spray. Perfect for industrial telemetry systems or tracking various heavy equipment and materials on construction sites.
Like the indoor version, this marker supports iBeacon, Eddystone and MikroTik telemetry formats. It features an NFC-encoded MAC address and optional encryption. Unlike the indoor version, the outdoor marker has a built-in temperature sensor that can be used for condition monitoring. The ±0.5°C accuracy can be extremely useful in cold chain logistics.
The TG-BT5-OUT has an improved 550 mAh battery that lasts for about five years (transmission interval - 1 s). It is perfect for mounting on various surfaces and can withstand a temperature range of -20°C to 85°C.
