The new 'CCR2116-12G-4S+' router allows you to unleash the full potential of reliable 10G networks by combining it with a modern processor. Like its 'younger brother' - the excellent CCR2004, this router is equipped with a powerful 'Amazon Annapurna Labs Alpine' processor. But with 16 cores operating at a frequency of 2 GHz, this CCR model surpasses its predecessor. This model has a single-core speed increase of at least 15%, which is very important for performing high-intensity tasks based on switching processing, such as queue processing. 'CCR2116-12G-4S+' sets a new single-core performance standard for the entire CCR product family! In addition, this device supports Layer 3 hardware offloading (Hardware Offloading)!

To make the most of this power, proper connectivity is required. The device features four 10G SFP+ ports with a dedicated full-duplex line connected to a Marvell Aldrin family switch chip. There are also 12 Gigabit Ethernet ports connected via a Marvell chip, and another Gigabit port directly connected to the CPU for management purposes.

Each group of 4 ports has a separate full-duplex connection to the switch chip, so there are no bottlenecks - you can expect switch-like performance in most settings.
