The new router has 18 wired ports, including 16 Gigabit Ethernet ports and two 10G SFP+ connectors. There is also an RJ-45 console port on the front.

Each group of 8 Gigabit Ethernet ports is connected to a separate Marvell Amethyst family switch chip. Each switch chip has a 10 Gbps full-duplex line connected to the processor. The same applies to each SFP+ connector - a separate 10 Gbps full-duplex line. The devices have 4GB DDR4 RAM and 128MB NAND storage.

So as you can see - no bottlenecks. Each port can reach its maximum speed as long as the processor can handle the traffic. And this processor is a real powerhouse that can do a lot. If we look at the performance, we can see that it can compete with our CCR1009 model.
