This additional cost-effective upgrade over the previous R11 LTE6 modem. It offers the same speeds (up to 300 Mbps) and features as the previous version, but at an even lower price!
This mini-PCIe modem is designed for the EMEA/APAC/Australia regions, and the supported frequency bands include the popular B28 band.
Carrier aggregation allows the R11 to use multiple frequency bands simultaneously. This is a big advantage in areas with a lot of LTE users. It provides better response in densely populated areas and greater efficiency in weaker signal areas in rural areas. Depending on the service provider, we have seen internet speeds in rural areas double after switching to Carrier aggregation!
The form factor is only fully compatible with full-size LtAPs. However, the card will be recognized by any RouterOS device when inserted into a PCIe slot or via USB using an adapter.
