This interface is required to retain the rear view camera when installing a new radio. It allows you to connect a factory fitted camera to an aftermarket device equipped with a camera input. Depending on the vehicle and equipment, the adapter provides an RCA video signal, +6V/ground for the OEM camera, and a reversing signal. Vehicles equipped with a 360° camera system or systems with moving distance lines may not be compatible. Before installation, check that the adapter is correctly assigned to the OEM connector. On some radios, the rear view camera must be enabled in the menu.
