Band search: The scanner has 23 preset search bands. You can use any of these bands to find the desired frequency
Turbo Search: Increases the search speed to 180 steps per second. This only applies to bands with 5 kHz steps
Frequency Skip: allows you to disable unwanted frequencies that are constantly broadcasting, making the search faster
Memory Lock: allows you to "lock" programmed channels into memory to prevent accidental deletion
