Liquid Freezer III is compatible with most common Intel and AMD sockets. It is adapted to the new Intel LGA1851 socket, so users do not need to worry that new processors will also require new coolers. The manufacturer guarantees full compatibility: Liquid Freezer III can be used with the new Intel LGA1851 socket without any restrictions.
LGA1851/LGA1700 socket features: ARCTIC mounting frame does not deform the processor, removing two points of pressure. Mechanical load on the motherboard and processor is reduced to a minimum, cooling performance remains constant, and installation is quick and easy.
The premium-class radiator is 38 mm thick with a high density of edges. By increasing the cooling surface, heat dissipation is improved, as well as the volume of liquid is increased. Water has a much higher heat capacity than aluminum or copper. This slows down the heat build-up in the water cooling system, and power and temperature peaks can be effectively managed for a longer period of time. With increased performance, operation remains quiet.
Two connection cables provide two control options: like the Liquid Freezer II series coolers, the entire unit can be controlled via a single connector, meaning the pump, VRM and fans can be easily controlled with a single PWM setting. Another option: using a splitter, the pump, VRM and fans can be controlled independently of each other. This allows, for example, the VRM fan speed to be controlled independently of the processor and adjusted analogously to the temperature of the voltage converters using PWM.
Liquid Freezer III is ready to use right out of the box, with the fan cables integrated into the wiring harness, so only one cable needs to be connected to the motherboard. Together with the included MX-6 thermal paste, you have everything you need for a quick and easy installation.
The new ARCTIC A-RGB fans used in this model allow you to create perfectly coordinated multi-color lighting effects. A-RGB lighting capabilities are more advanced than RGB, allowing for more light and color effects at once to create a unique look for your system.
