Zebra introduces the ZD421-HC, a 4-inch desktop printer for sustainable label printing in healthcare. It is compatible with any Windows, Android or iOS device and has a maximum print speed of 152 mm/sec at 203 dpi or 102 mm/sec at 300 dpi. To ensure it meets all healthcare requirements, its compact plastic housing is disinfectable and UV-resistant, and the main interface is sealed. In addition, its power supply meets IEC 60601-1 requirements for use in healthcare facilities.

The ZD421-HC comes standard with 256 MB SDRAM and 512 MB flash memory, as well as USB 2.0, USB port, NFC and Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE). Optionally, it can be expanded to include Ethernet, serial, Wi-Fi 802.11ac and Bluetooth 4.1 interfaces. A removable media sensor ensures high compatibility, as well as almost free media selection. In addition, the printer is easy to operate with 3 buttons, and 5 LEDs constantly indicate the current printer status. In addition, the ZD421-HC supports Zebra's comprehensive Print DNA tools.
