Bixolon XD5-40d, 8 dots / mm, (203 dpi) XD5-40DEK

The BIXOLON XD5-40 series consists of the XD5-40d (direct thermal printing), XD5-40tR and XD5-40t (thermal transfer) label printer models. All three models are perfectly suited for various retail, manufacturing, transport and logistics areas due to their reliable and dependable performance - XD5-40d can also be used in laboratories and pharmacies, while XD5-40tR additionally supports UHF RFID printing and encoding. The maximum print speed is approximately 152 mm/s for XD5-40tR and XD5-40t or 178 mm/s for XD5-40d. The print resolution, depending on the model, is 203 dpi or high-resolution 300 dpi.

USB, USB port and, depending on the model and requirements, serial, Ethernet, WLAN and Bluetooth interfaces ensure fast data processing of the XD5-40 series devices. The printers also feature a compact housing design with intuitive menu buttons and an optional LCD display. An automatic cutter and peeler can be installed on site, and the label design software "BIXOLON" and "BarTender" (Seagull Scientific) are also supported.
