Bixolon XD5-40d, 8 dots / mm, (203 dpi) XD5-40DEK

The BIXOLON XD5-40 series consists of the XD5-40d (direct thermal), XD5-40tR and XD5-40t (thermal transfer) label printer models. All three models are ideal for a variety of retail, manufacturing, transport and logistics applications due to their reliable and dependable performance - the XD5-40d can also be used in laboratories and pharmacies, while the XD5-40tR additionally supports UHF RFID printing and encoding. The maximum print speed is approximately 152 mm/s for the XD5-40tR and XD5-40t or 178 mm/s for the XD5-40d. The print resolution, depending on the model, is 203 dpi or high-resolution 300 dpi.

USB, USB port and, depending on the model and requirements, serial, Ethernet, WLAN and Bluetooth interfaces ensure fast data processing of the XD5-40 series devices. The printers also feature a compact housing design with intuitive menu buttons and an optional LCD display. An automatic cutter and peeler can be installed on site, and BIXOLON and BarTender (Seagull Scientific) label design software is also supported.
