The XD3-40d and XD3-40t 4-inch desktop direct thermal and thermal transfer label printers belong to the BIXOLON XD3-40 series. They are characterized by high reliability, compactness (clamshell) and good price-performance ratio. XD3-40d is primarily used in manufacturing and healthcare, while XD3-40t is better suited for retail, transportation and logistics. Regardless of the application, both label printers help users process data quickly and print at a maximum speed of up to 127 mm/s with a resolution of 203 dpi.

The XD3-40 series features a large 64 MB SDRAM and 125 MB flash memory, as well as easy paper feeding with an adjustable paper guide and holder. A standard USB 2.0 interface and optional USB, serial and Ethernet interfaces provide extensive connectivity options. In addition, the printers are compatible with almost all market-leading programming languages and offer intelligent programming language switching without complicated mode settings. Media sensor adjustment is also very simple, and platen and printhead maintenance requires no tools.
