Power supply versatility


FiberPoE allows for separation of power supply from standard Ethernet cables or a standard block of power terminals/cables. There are three ways to configure input and output power.


Fiber optic data transport


The use of fiber optic cable for data transmission significantly reduces failures from electrostatic discharge (ESD) and electromagnetic interference (EMI). Data integrity is also maintained for transmissions above 100 meters, which is a limitation for Ethernet networks via twisted-pair. Supports FiberPoE Gen 2 1G SFP and power supply 24V or 50V from a DC or PoE cable.
