The device automatically disconnects the battery from non-essential loads before its voltage drops to a level that could threaten its durability or prevent the engine from starting. Thanks to this Smart Battery Protect It effectively extends battery life and prevents failures in off-grid installations, vehicles, and energy storage systems.
Device configuration is performed wirelessly via Bluetooth – the user can adjust the connection and disconnection thresholds using the VictronConnect app, without the need for physical intervention. A seven-segment display indicates the current settings, making operation easier.
The device has very low current consumption and uses MOSFET technology, which prevents sparking during switching. An alarm output allows for the connection of a light or sound indicator to inform about the current operating status.
The disconnector is designed with versatility in mind – it offers lithium battery operating modes and overvoltage protection. A 30-second connection and disconnection delay function additionally protects the system against unnecessary switching due to momentary voltage fluctuations.
