The development of the Seasonic CONNECT is the result of continued interest from our users and partners during the past few years. While fully modular power supplies helped to alleviate the need to plug in cables that were not necessary for some builds, our engineers have continuously been searching for a better and cleaner way of power supply cable management. Eventually, they came up with another possibility to improve the overall functionality and look of PC systems. This is how the SCMD, introduced at Computex 2018, was born, which ultimately has further evolved to become the upcoming Seasonic CONNECT.

INTRODUCING SEASONIC CONNECT
The Seasonic CONNECT is comprised of two linked products. One is the Seasonic PRIME 750 W 80 PLUS® Gold certified power supply, with our S3FC technology for efficient cooling and quiet operation. The other component is the CONNECT device, which is essentially a backplane that is mounted on the PC case with magnets to provide for the connections to all the components. During installation we only need to use two cables from the power supply to power the CONNECT. While the power supply itself supports the +12 V, -12 V and +5 Vsb rails, the CONNECT converts this power to provide the +3.3 V and +5 V outputs from the +12 V rail.

The Seasonic CONNECT is an aesthetic upgrade to everyone's system and it will also feature a Seasonic LED display. The Seasonic CONNECT will ship with a dedicated cable set that will be long enough to reach any part of your computer to make your CONNECT, a One Clean Solution.
