The Orion-Tr Smart 24/24-17A is an advanced non-isolated DC-DC converter, ideal for managing auxiliary battery charging from a starter battery in vehicles or boats. Capable of limiting the alternator charge current to 17A, this model ensures stable and safe charging while protecting the battery from excessive stress. With a common ground, both the main and auxiliary batteries share the same ground, eliminating the need for additional isolation.

Built-in Bluetooth and Remote Control

Thanks to integrated Bluetooth, the device can be monitored and programmed via the VictronConnect app. This allows for full remote control, including remote start and stop, making it easy to manage the system from anywhere. The Orion-Tr Smart is compatible with Euro 5 and Euro 6 engines, making it ideal for modern vehicles.

Overheating Protection and Intelligent Management

The device automatically adjusts the charging current in response to rising temperatures, preventing overheating. Additionally, an engine shutdown detection mechanism ensures the converter shuts off when the engine is not running, protecting the starter battery from discharging.
