The device's main function is to automatically disconnect the charger when the battery reaches defined parameters, preventing overcharging and damage.
The device works with systems Ve.Bus BMS and smallBMS which monitor its operation and enable precise control of the charging process. Thanks to an external BMS, the Cyrix-Li-Charge disconnects when the voltage reaches specific values, such as 13.0V or higher, ensuring optimal battery operating conditions. Furthermore, if the charger's output voltage increases immediately after disconnection, the Cyrix will reconnect the device to the battery with a 3-second delay, allowing for controlled charging in all conditions.
Safety and reliability These are the key features of this contactor. The Cyrix-Li-Charge will immediately shut down if it detects a cell overvoltage or overtemperature, preventing potential system damage. If the overvoltage alarm resets, the device will resume charging after a 3-second delay. When the charger is left connected for an extended period, the Cyrix-Li-Charge will automatically disconnect after one hour to check if the charger is still working, saving energy and preventing overcharging.
