To prevent the battery from aging too quickly, the device automatically enters storage mode after 24 hours of inactivity. The float voltage is reduced to minimize gassing and plate corrosion, significantly extending battery life.

Overheating protection

The Blue Smart IP65 24V/13A charger is protected against overheating – if the temperature rises, the charging current automatically reduces to prevent damage. However, the device does not disconnect, ensuring continuous operation.

LiFePO4 battery support

The charger is compatible with lithium iron phosphate (LiFePO4) batteries, allowing for a wide range of applications. A button on the housing allows for quick switching to LiFePO4 charging mode.
