The Victron Energy BMV 700 battery monitor is an advanced tool for precisely monitoring battery charge status in 12V, 24V, and 48V systems. Thanks to its microprocessor, the device accurately tracks both voltage and current during charging and discharging, allowing for optimal energy management. An advanced algorithm based on Peukert's formula accurately calculates remaining battery capacity, taking into account factors such as discharge current, temperature, and battery age. The BMV 700 can monitor currents up to 500A, making it ideal for high-load systems. The easy-to-read display provides key information including voltage, current, ampere-hours consumed, and estimated time to full discharge. In addition, the device measures power consumption in watts, which helps with even more precise energy management.
Installing the BMV 700 is extremely simple thanks to quick PCB connectors, and all necessary mounting elements, such as a 10m RJ12 cable and a 2m fused cable, are included. The monitor can be mounted on both the front and rear panels, allowing for flexible adaptation to various installation environments. Additionally, the device is equipped with a relay that allows for setting alarm thresholds, which increases battery protection.>
