CTK AntiCreak - anti-squeak and anti-crackle textile tape 20 mm / 6 m CTK AntiCreak This self-adhesive, soft, and flexible textile tape is designed to eliminate squeaking, crackling, and rattling sounds from plastic car interior components. The product acts as a flexible spacer between components that rub against each other, vibrate, or produce unpleasant sounds while driving. The tape is ideal for soundproofing the vehicle interior, installing door panels, dashboard components, center console, trunk shelf, air vents, decorative moldings, frames, clips, and electrical wiring harnesses. Effectively eliminates plastic squeaking. While driving, plastic panels and upholstery components can move, rubbing against each other or against metal body parts. This causes squeaking, cracking, and rattling sounds, especially over bumps. CTK AntiCreak helps reduce these sounds by separating the contacting surfaces with a soft layer of material. The tape should be applied to the joints, panel edges, or where plastic parts come into contact with metal or painted elements. Thanks to its thinness, the tape compresses easily and allows for easy reinstallation of upholstery components. For the cabin, door panels, and electrical harnesses, CTK AntiCreak can be used not only on plastics but also to secure wiring harnesses, electrical connectors, clips, and latches. The tape dampens vibrations, stabilizes loose components, and helps prevent noise inside the cabin. The product also has applications outside of the automotive industry, including soundproofing boats, yachts, household appliances, machinery, and industrial equipment such as generators, compressors, fans, air conditioners, and ventilation ducts. Installation: Before installation, the surface should be clean, dry, and degreased. Cut the tape to the appropriate length, peel off the protective backing, and apply it to the contact points where the squeaks or rattles are caused. The upholstery, panel, or cover can then be reinstalled. The recommended installation temperature is +15°C to +30°C. The tape thins in areas subjected to high pressure, allowing it to fit snugly into gaps and joints. Basic parameters
