Tenda O3 is a wireless external Wi-Fi CPE unit that supports Access Point / Station / WISP / P2MP / WDS Repeater / Router modes, supports the 802.11b/g/n standard in the 2.4 GHz band with a speed of up to 150 Mb/s. Contains 2x port RJ45, supports passive PoE power supply or power adapter (power adapter and power adapter are part of the package). VPN Pass-Through, SSID Isolation, DDNS, DHCP, Transparent Bridge, VLAN tagging SSID and other technologies.
Tenda O3 supports many types of security: 64/128 WEP, WPA-PSK, WPA2-PSK, WPA&WPA2-PSK, WPA, WPA2, option to order the broadcast name of the wireless network (SSID), VLAN for individual SSIDs, setting output power to many others network functions. Tenda O3 supports several operating modes
- Prístupový bod - Access Point - in this mode, the O3 is connected to the network using an ethernet cable and transmits a wireless network.
- The station - O3 is connected to the WiFi network and provides connectivity to the LAN port, which it contains, without connecting to another device cable. Ďalšiu Wi-Fi network no longer connected.
- WISP - Client + Router - in this mode with O3 pripoje k WiFi network (WISP station/hotspot), separate the network of the provider from the local network using routing and create a home WiFi network with its own DHCP server. This local connectivity is also shared through its LAN port.
- P2MP - O3 supports Point-To-Multipoint communication, where one station can communicate with several stations in different locations.
- WDS Repeater - WiFi signal encapsulation mode, O3 in this case receives a WiFi signal from one source and provides it further.
- Router - standard router mode, where one of the RJ45 ports is set as WAN for connecting to an external network, the other RJ45 is LAN for a local network, and O3 creates a WiFi network with Internet access.
