To match colours and make the most of the image sensor's capabilities when shooting with the FX30, an 'S-Log3' gamma colour curve is used. This allows the FX30's wide colour gamut and 14+ latitude to be used to achieve true cinematic image quality when processing footage.

10-bit 4:2:2 recording for more extensive editing

The FX30 can record 10-bit 4:2:2 images when using 'Long GOP' or 'All-Intra' compression, conveying more color information and creating fuller, more natural color gradations in your footage.
