The 'FUJINON TELECONVERTER XF2X TC WR' is a high-performance teleconverter that can double the focal length of attached lenses*1. It features a superior optical design with a 9-element construction in 5 groups to maintain the optical characteristics of the original lens. Furthermore, thanks to its unified design, when attached to a compatible lens, the teleconverter is weather and dust resistant and can operate down to -10°C. This allows for confident outdoor use when used with a weather and dust resistant camera body and lens.

High image quality design that maintains the optical characteristics of the original lens*

The 9-element, 5-group construction retains the optical characteristics of the original lens. By using optimal image quality settings for the overall characteristics of the original lens and a 2x teleconverter, excellent image performance with high aberration suppression is still achieved. The aperture becomes two f-stops larger when the teleconverter is attached, and the camera displays and records information reflecting the changes in aperture and focal length. Autofocus performance

Phase detection AF is still available with the XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR with the 2x teleconverter attached.

Contrast-detection AF is still available with the XF100-400mmF4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR with the 2x teleconverter attached. Precise focusing at super-telephoto focal lengths and shallow depth of field is possible thanks to AF performed by the image sensor thanks to the 'Live View' of mirrorless cameras.

Optical image stabilization performance

The attached teleconverter does not affect the camera's optical image stabilization performance*.

Weather and dust resistant and works in temperatures as low as -10°C

Using the teleconverter with a weather-sealed camera, such as the FUJIFILM X-T1 or X-Pro2 mirrorless digital camera and the FUJINON XF50-140mmF2.8 R LM OIS WR or XF100-400mmF4.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR lens, does not affect the weather-sealing performance of the system.

High quality delicate appearance

The high-quality metal exterior of the teleconverter was designed with the X system in mind. When attached to a compatible FUJINON lens, the two products appear as one lens.
