The BY-M1DM by Boya is a dual-mode microphone that is suitable for smartphones and (DSLR) cameras. Thanks to the four-meter cable, you have enough freedom of movement. The special feature of the BY-M1DM is that it is suitable for both smartphones and cameras. You can switch between these two modes with a special button. When you use the BY-M1DM with a camera, an LR44 battery does its job; it provides power to the microphones. A 3.5 mm to 6.3 mm adapter is included to connect the BY-M1DM to professional cameras.
Using the BY-M1DM
With the BY-M1DM, you can interview two people at the same time and record audio. The audio is recorded on two separate tracks (L / R), allowing you to individually adjust the sounds of the collection. Thanks to its universal installation (cameras and smartphones) and low cost, the BY-M1DM offers a solution for both beginner and advanced filmmakers. Both microphones come with a neckband and windscreen. You also get a handy storage bag.
