Olympus is pleased to introduce the world's first macro flash, whose lightweight and compact design is dust, splash and freeze resistant (-10°C), making it ideal for any environment - be it the rainforest or the desert. The STF-8 supports flash photography when used with cameras that have focus stacking and continuous focus modes. This feature is particularly useful for photographing flowers, insects, and commercial studio photography. The included adapter ring is compatible with the M.Zuiko Digital ED 30mm 1:3.5 Macro, M.Zuiko Digital ED 60mm 1:2.8 Macro and M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mmxa01:2.8 PRO lenses. This compact macro flash offers versatile and creative lighting options by allowing you to control the output ratio of each individual or dual flash head. When both dual flash heads are used, the guide number is 8.5, and when only one is used, it is 6. In addition to TTL auto sync mode, you can also set the flash in 1/3x0-stop intervals and 1x0-stop intervals using the flash control dial when using the camera in manual mode. The master flash can also control multiple flash units.
