Powerful focal range

Reach far with a very small lens. The compact 150-400mm IS PRO lens provides a 35mm-equivalent focal range of 300-800mm that brings you closer without moving a single step, while the built-in teleconverter can extend your reach even further. It is so powerful that you can easily capture the smallest details on a bird's wing or the whiskers on a fox.

Bright, fixed aperture

150-400mm IS PRO delivers a bright F4.5 aperture throughout the zoom range up to 800mm. Using the built-in 1.25x teleconverter extends your focal length to 1000mm with an F5.6 aperture. The lens uses state-of-the-art optical technologies that significantly reduce color fringing and flare and deliver edge-to-edge sharpness. There are 28 glass elements arranged in 18 groups, including a large diameter EDA lens and 4 Super ED lenses. Advanced Z Coating Nano reduces ghosting and flare for the exceptional image quality that M.Zuiko lenses are known for worldwide.

Integrated teleconverter

Engage the 150-400mm IS PRO's built-in 1.25x teleconverter to extend the focal range to 1000mm (35mm equivalent). Plus, add optional M.Zuiko teleconverters for a maximum equivalent focal range of 750-2000mm. Using M.Zuik's lens system you will be able to enjoy an unprecedented manual telephoto lens.

From telephoto to macro

Of course, it's a distance-erasing super-zoom lens. However, it also works as a macro photography lens. Don't want to get too close to the subject of your macro? Enjoy a shooting distance of 4 feet throughout the zoom range with a 35mm equivalent maximum image magnification of x0.57. Increase the magnification to 0.71 with the 1.25x teleconverter to capture impressive details on an insect or flower.
