Worm clamp

The worm drive clamp is made of a wide steel strip with a galvanized (aluminum-zinc) coating. It is used to secure flexible rubber, PVC, and other round hoses to inlet and outlet connections, etc. The tape has rounded edges to protect the hose from damage. The clamp screw has a hexagonal head with a straight or cross recess. Asymmetrically embossed teeth on the tape, in conjunction with the screw, ensure the clamp rotates in the direction of the torque.
